We recommend that you print it and fill it out ahead of time, in order to save some time during your first appointment. You can also choose to come a few minutes early and fill it out.
What should I expect?
At your first session, your therapist will spend the first 20-30 minutes getting to know you, finding out your goals and expectations and answering any questions you may have. They will assess your posture and structural balance or reflexes as a starting point for treatment. This will be followed by hands on treatment.
What should I wear?
MFR is performed on bare skin. The best attire is a two-piece bathing suit or loose shorts and tank top or sports bra for women and loose shorts for men.
Please refrain from using any lotions or creams as this will make treatment difficult.
Reflex integration – it is best to wear light or white colored loose fitting clothing.
Do I need a prescription from my doctor?
In the state of Florida you do not need a prescription to see an Occupational Therapist. If you would like to submit payment to your insurance company for reimbursement, then you may require one.
Is the treatment covered by my insurance?
Many insurance plans have Occupational Therapy benefits. However, we do not process insurance payments. We are able to give you a super-bill indicating the treatment you have received in order for you to submit it to your insurance company.

Note: if you decide to submit claims to your insurance company, you will not be able to purchase multiple sessions treatment packages.
How will I feel after the session?

Each individuals experience is different. You may experience varying type of sensations. Occasionally symptoms may be temporary increased. You may experience nausea, lethargy or fatigue.
